What is coed showers?

Coed showers, also known as mixed-gender or gender-neutral showers, are communal shower spaces where individuals of all genders are able to use the same facilities at the same time. Coed showers are designed to be inclusive of all individuals, regardless of their gender identity or expression.

Coed showers may be found in a variety of settings, including schools, gyms, dormitories, and community centers. They may be configured in a number of different ways, with individual stalls or an open communal space.

While some people may feel uncomfortable or have privacy concerns with the idea of coed showers, advocates argue that they promote gender equality and reduce stigma and discrimination against people who do not conform to traditional gender roles. Coed showers can also be seen as a way to promote healthy body image and positive attitudes towards nudity.
